2021 Featured Quilter - Lanette Cuffe
The 2021 Featured Quilter Lanette Cuffe says that sewing and quilting are such a part of her life that she can't really say when she became a quilter. Her grandmother Pauline Eslinger was her first quilting influence, as she made quilts for nearly everyone in her large family of 10 childeren and 26 grandchildren.
Lanette began her fun but serious pursuit of quilting in 1993 when she started working at the Quilt Gallery with Joan Hodgeboom and a group of talented co-workers. This gave her the chance to learn from national and international instructors, and learn a diversity of new techniques. Being a member of the Flathead Quilt Guild and the great friendships she has made there also been an important part of Lanette's continuing quilt story.
